I already have a chrome messenger which is 23L and I regret not buying a bigger one, if you come up with a bigger one then ..

It will be done in the near future, it'll take next to no product development as it'll be just a scaleup!

Quite fancy one of these, they look great! Hurry up payday

They look great, very well done!
Is the compartment completely rectangular? I've been looking for something that can take an A3 bound document (42cm x 30cm) without it bending/folding too much, so a bit of reassurance that that would work would be much appreciated.

It depends how often you'll be using it. In conjuction with the compression straps it'll fit no problem, but if its a daily thing i'd maybe suggest something different!

good to hear.
Jordan, any idea of turnaround time for an order placed yesterday?

Should be with you today or tomorrow apollo,
I spent the weeks running up to launch making a small buffer of bags so it went out straight away yesterday afternoon

Yeah I had this problem, I couldn't find any messenger bag to fit an A3 portfolio (approx. 450x330x50)... I ended up designing my own but I still haven't got around to making it.
So if a bigger version of this bag becomes available I would be interested.

Sold out already??
-
• #41
Still in stock on the site, are you having issues with it?
-
• #42
Already incredibly cheap, esp when compared with comparable bags sold on here.
I'll pick one of these up on payday also, loving the BigxTop stuff.
I don't think there are any comparable bags being sold on here...or at least not UK made ones.
The other companies like BRP, Levrier, and Belk tended to concentrate more on the larger bags.
Bigxtop are the only company making a high quality, UK made, smaller messenger of this type as far as i know?
I can't believe people would still expect a discount at this price. Don't forget that these are made by one guy...not in a factory making hundreds a day.
Glad to see it selling well Jordan! :] -

Well said BRP. If I didn't have a wedding to pay for I would be all over this like a rash. Looks to be the perfect size for me. I have a Bontrager wannabe type bag about this size and it is nearly ideal, cost me £50. Looks like this bag ticks all those extra boxes I'm looking for and then some. Absolute bargain at £70. Will be watching your site closely over the next few months and most definitely throwing some hard earned dowry money at you when I've stopped spending silly amounts hiring fucking table cloths and the like.

just received it in the post. as with the pouch, I'll take some snaps & review but the tl;dr version is this is quality.

that would be awesome mate!

Did you dispatch mine the same day as Apolloxl - the suspense is killing me!

so, I suppose test one is construction quality. seems ace. tough, durable and seems like it will last. time will tell!
Padded strap is very comfortable and feels secure.
Test two is called "how much crap can I shove in and still get it to close properly"
bulky towel, full uni folder, phone book and a textbook seemed like more than I will be carrying on a normal day, so...
I could have fit more small items in between and another towel on the top if I only used the straps to secure it closed.
success! also, no problems strapping large items to the bag:
all round awesome bag, well made, carries loads, **no regrets!
**
Thanks Jordan and good luck! -

Looks great apollo, thanks so much for posting stuff up.
Everybody's loyalty here is just fantastic.
For those who might have some questions about me.. This is my full time job and tis a real business! I don't make a tonne of money and I do this because I've always wanted to be self employed and I enjoy making things. I work from a dedicated workshop in the form of an amazing brick built building in the back garden, that came with the flat we rent. I enjoy both track and road bikes, and would probably enjoy mountain biking if i had the chance.
Everything is made to order, the only time I'd ever list something as out of stock would be if I couldnt get the materials in for some freak reason. Anyone who orders a mini messenger should expect for it to be dispatched within 3-5 working days depending on the work load at that point.
Thanks guys!
That is on the cards, but you'd be surprised at what it can currently fit. 17.5 is the pure mathmetical response to the dimensions, compared to some 20L hiking backpacks ive had its much more useful
