Peter. Happy to act as UK delivery base for you if that helps?
-
• #155
that would be superb, cheers. are you in north yorks?
communication with Carradice is proving erratic so I'll probably be in touch soon ;-)
-
• #156
Nope London's famous London, but if you want me to forward deliveries to you I could do that.
-
• #157
pm'd you, thanks for the offer!

ah! just been thinking last few weeks of getting one too, last one nicked with a saddle. Brixton Cycles may have old ones in stock, that's where I got it last time, think it was the smaller one, and not QR.

Last time I was in Brixton Cycles (few weeks ago) I asked about carradice stuff and they said they had nothing... though they may have had supports – until I actually got a bag there was no point thinking about supports.
That's one of the least insightful things I've ever had to say, sorry...

Spa cannot guarantee delivery within 2 weeks... So I placed this ad in Classified's 'wanted'
http://www.lfgss.com/thread91292.html

I use a couple of Chossy music cases (one from ebay, the other from a boot sale) for day to day carrying. I use leather laces to tie them to a rear rack and they work really well. http://www.myfixedgear.net/gringolet-update

Do they not come loose or start to tear after a while?

Greetings folks,
I purchased a Nelson longflap (in green) two weeks ago from Condor.
When I asked for the support thing they only had the new one in black - no silver ones left.....
As I am never going to overload it, I have so far used it without the supports going
down to the seat tube and it works fine bolted to a Brooks saddle.
I absolutely love it and will use it on long rides so no more weight on my back.
Oh and for the spotters, mine was made by Janet.
Oh and for the bike pimpers, the support thing is currently with Brick Lane Bikes being painted in white to match the bike - oh yes...
Peace and Love,
Tim -

Been using them for three months now. I used a grp rod ( I make kites too!) fitted internally in the case to anchor the laces and a hole punch to get nice neat unfrayable holes. I also made the saddle bag which has been really successful, especially with Prufide slapped on!

^^mine was made by Janet too. Shout out to Janet!

Mine is Sue, nice work Sue!

I fucking love Carradice products. Mine was made by Lindsey. I ned some new leather straps now though, as the metal loops do slowly chew away at the straps over time.

I am using a cut down toe strap as a replacement for the seat post tie. It might work for you as well?
(ps ot: I bookmarked a load of edits for Panton blues on my Kindle but cannot figure out to export them. really sorry dude.)

This.
I actually reused my old MKS laminated toe strap as they're very sturdy and last for a while.

The new bagman2 is made of alloy apparently, so if you removed the strut, I highly doubt it will have the capacity needed to support a bag full of anything.
I might have a bagman1 sport up for sale soon actually. Watch this space

Ha, mine too!
Top work Sue -

I wonder if it's a great idea to start a topic asking everyone who made their bag and listed them?
so far it's

But in my wildest dreams like this:
