Also, this thread is an epic rehash of the discussion from when this pointless product was first launched, and that was much longer ago than the May 2012 post referred to by Apollo. It was on Wired in October 2010, for example, and our glorious leader promptly drew attention to it in the almighty helmet thread. It hasn't become any more relevant in the intervening 2 years.
I'd suggest a thread merge into the never ending helmet thread.
