2012-08-19 - Herne Bay - A Fixed-Wheel Joint

Does anyone else not have to be at work early on Monday? How quiet is the beach around there? Would someone kipping on the sand be left alone in peace? Could ride back in the morning... Anyone game, in theory, bearing in mind that it's not even 100pc that I can come yet and that, even if I do, I might bail on this plan?

Margate and Ramsgate? I'd not risk the beach there as they're fairly rough areas. Make a little trip back west to Birchington and you'll be just fine, carry on a mile or so further to Reculver Towers and it's pretty countryside, that's where I'd kip if necessary.
