Does it matter what cranks i have for use with front derailleur? its friction shift so it'll just be adjusting it that makes a differance right?
thinking about getting apex cranks+bb cheap in the fudge close out black to go with the rest of the parts and the bb on mine needs replacing which would be £20, could sell my current cranks for £25-30, and if i want black cranks at some point anyway may aswell just drop the extra £40 now and get the lot..
Did some more reading up and think i might have initially read up on front derailleurs wrong...
i think i might need a new fd, for some reason i had in my head that all fd's are friction shifting so my 105 brifters would work with my old tri-color front mech, but perhaps not...
