He's posting here because they're are poeple who know just as much if not more than he'll find out at his local bike shop, but then won't be roped into spending loads.
From my limited knowledge your wheels are fine and shouldn't suffer any random catastrophic failure, although they do need a minor truing.
Sounds like the threads on your fork and/or headset locknut are gone, so yeah they'd need replacing, but...
...seeing as you have two penny sized dents and the frame has been in a crash, sounds like a write off to me mate, as a frame can suffer a catastrophic failure if it's dented etc
Although yes seeing the stuff in the real would really help, and bear in mind this is based on my inferior knowledge.
Get some pics and hopefully a more authority figure can give you some advice
