I've now introduced the existing dog and cat to the kittens.
The cat has done a lot of crying and some hissing but is basically quite curious about them and keeps coming to investigate. We are trying to keep her territory free from mini invaders until she is used to them.
The dog has avoided eye contact and has been so gentle with them, but then, she only really cares about her stomach anyway - she's already managed to clean out their food bowls a couple of times.
Meanwhile the kittens are busy all day playing and sleeping, playing and sleeping, etc....
Higgs is still very much the author of her own misfortune.
When she is outside she is as friendly as she ever was- and she will exhibit the same behaviour in the flat.
Right up until she spots Tesla, at which point if you try stroke her she'll growl and then go for you- which she never used to do.
I'm stuck now, I really don't know how to make Higgs accept that Tesla is not going anywhere, and that by remaining stressed and grumpy she's just making herself unhappy.
