I'm honest enough to say that I've jumped these lights before. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, or using the fact that it's a T junction as an excuse - especially not in rush hour, but when I'm heading West (the same goes for Baywater/Holland Park Road), jumping those T-junction lights is something I do occasionally. Invariably it's at night or late, but still I know I shouldn't.
Making me a bona fide hypocrite is I go mental when I see people jump the lights at the T-junction by Kennington tube. Need to sort out my cognitive dissonance at some point.
