Tourney: Greif Camp, Karlsruhe 2012/08/10-12

(Kind of) sad news:
The third edition of Greif Masters will NOT be an indoor tournament and will NOT happen this Winter.

After weeks of bullshit meetings with the people from the planned location and loads of talking and talking, it's really sad we'll not be able to host Greif Masters 3 at this amazing location. But we'll give it another try next Winter.

Anyways. Here's our new plan. We will host the GM3 as a 2 court outdoor tournament at some point this Summer.
We'll have a perfect brand new (bikepolo specific and specially built for us) Court and one other (also not bad) second court, camping and barbecue at the courts, etc… More details to follow later this year.

The good part about this. As Karlsruhe is very central in Europe, there hopefully will be a lot of international players around because of the Worlds…

Shame, was hoping to finally make it to a Grief Masters... the summer it is... going to have no time for anything else other than polo at the rate.

@B: We try to do our very best to get the same weather and light conditions as in 2010... BBQ at the bus station for the win...

it's a shame, but also good, summer tourney in karlsruhe sounds awesome!

It's such an amazing location, a sports facility, two courts, a beach/bbq/food/drink area, camping, and a clubhouse with showers, toilets, and it's own restaurant.

One of the best tournaments I've been to.
