Two reasons:
1) I can't drill into my walls (stone, reinforced concrete + steel in every wall).
2) None of my rooms have space, I'm basically going to set up in the communal hallway
So it does need to be a foldaway stand, but one that can take a heavy bike whilst being very stable.
