All British would be a nice concept if time allowed! - Thanks for the Retrobike tip, I've never really looked there for kit...
Wheels are now sorted though - Just got some Nuovo Record hubs built onto Arc-en-Ciel Rims (36H) - £10.50 + £12.50 p+p - they come with skewers a Suntour rear block and a pair of Wolber 290 tyres in pretty good nick.
The catch is that they're in a terrible state!
mmm nice - and these photos are pretty generous - there's a monster ding in the rear rim and the block is covered in a thick layer of rust and all the spokes are very rusty.
The rim's outside in the front yard waiting for the tinkers to swipe it, the block came off rather easily thanks to the LBS (who incidently had a full super record groupset in boxes that someone had taken from a Ken Rogers trike to replace with XTR!!!).
The plan is to give the hubs a thorough clean/regrease and build them onto some Pete Matthews sprint rims (99p on ebay) and refit the 290's - I'll see how well the block cleans up - it's a suntour perfect 14/16/18/21/24 so it would be pretty handy
