Same as mine, simply take the outermost nut when the levers are attached to the band, then place the cable stops onto the rod. Then screw the outermost nut back on to the pole outside of the cable stops.

the pole doesn't go far enough through the cable stop to thread anything which is my problem,

pics will show wether its the cablestop or the lever than i need to swap i guess!
