Advice on getting an outdoor velodrome built in Bristol

A few years ago Bristol city council were given £26,000000 to turn it into a cycling city.
You'd a thought they might have done something then, but they didn't and they can't find the spare change either.

Good luck with it all though. If you don't have any luck in Brizzle, there is a piece of land in Bath near the "tumps" BMX track that would be perfect.

Brizzle is fucking nightmare to cycle in. I have to commute from Temple Meads to nailsea and there's a junction I have to cross where you end up stuck in the middle of four lanes of traffic. Instead you HAVE TO hop up on the pavement and use underpass/bridge for peds to get where you need to be. The other problem is the wide, multi-lane roads which means the traffic generally is moving very fast and you freequently have to resort to ped crossings.

Anyways rant over, just need to HTFU. Velodrome idea sounds ace, not sure how I could help but I'd be willing
