if you have a mini-D then they combine perfectly to be worn around the waist (32") at an angle when riding.
if you are smaller then they could be worn down and across the shoulder. if you are bigger then the 1.0m option should tie around the waist without using the mini-D to extend the length.
4kg (chain, padlock and mini-D) feels heavy to hold, but as it hangs so well around the waist (32") feels a lot less when riding.
