It's extracting the image urls that is causing people the problem, MD, not the image upload. There is a solution, though, as quoted above.

I found Dropbox the easiest to do on the iPhone as it there's an option to copy the link to the photo within the app. The instructions above don't work on iPhone. At least with the latest iOS version.
