The most common food born worms, Trichinella, are a pig problem (also bears, humans, rats and walrus. But not dogs and cats).
The food supply is pretty well regulated.
Raw meat for cats is probably not a problem at all.
You should be worming cats pretty regularly in any case, to treat toxocara roundworm.
