  • JUST ON HERE FOR REFERENCE< I'M KEEPING IT AS ITS NOT WORTH WHAT I PAID FOR IT SOME YEARS BACK! OOPS.

Hi, you may have seen this on my other post, but i just want to see if there would be any interest in my GT, long story behind why i have this (someone close passed away left me a bit of money and so i bought something i always wanted and couldn't afford).

But although i love it and have probley tied a few too many heart strings to it, i have ridden it 4 mabie 5 times in the 3 years ive had it, i live in the bronx and id have to take it into the shop if i rode to them and still wanted a bike when i came out!

I have put full size bars on it and a long seat post (although that is on my new bike) also as it has a flip flop hub i put a 14t free wheel on it as the 18t is for racing and a little too much pedaling for every day.

It came to me with the original low rise race bars, i still have them and the Crank brothers 50/50 pedals, but i recently found the GT ones pictured and was going to change them out as they will look the part. Oh and the Easton ct2 carbon seatpost.

So the fact is i'm really after a fixed wheel track bike.

Check out the real dust.... the bike is spotles apart frome some tiny marks from being moved around the house out of the way of the wife (its always been in the house).

So i am into this beauty for £400, am i dreaming?

Be honest, i can take it, ive got kids.

  • Oh man, 76 views and not a word, thats a bit ominous!

  • 111 views and nothing, im ashamed that i couldn't tickle your fancy.

  • Your dreaming. Take the fancy pedals and seatpost off as they are not adding to the sale value much.

£150 is a more realistic price, £200 at a push.

  • Yeah, these go for £120+ on BMX talk iirc

  • Oh bugger. ok mad that they were and the new model still is £600 and i paid about £380.
    Not really an investment then.
should have bought a watch. :-(

  • Ooooh, salt in the wound much???? Let the man suffer in peace

  • Oh shit, well 3 years ago they were £600,

the moral here is dont buy something on a whim, i couldn't even swap it for a half decent fixie at this rate, oh well, good job i like it.

I should just ride it and know that when my boys are old enough they will take great pleasure mashing it up..... :-o
