^wheel hugger ;-)
Pah, only because I wanted your stench to mask the smell of the forest jizz.
Yes thats right, forest jizz. The forest smells like a thousand horses have ejaculated on the floor.

Lmao! It did smell like sperm last night. A lot of sperm.

I was very impressed for a second when I thought the ride was 137 miles! Nope, just 44. Still I am up for this soon. Also I keep meaning to get out for some early laps, does any one do these on the regular?

Be warned , as part of the ORN on Euston Road the Baker St and York Bridge exits have been blocked off so all traffic is going out the Great Portland Street exit.
Baker St corner become a massive pinch point with bollards narrowing road to one lane with the added frisson of confused drivers slowing needlessly.

Having tried to bust a few intervals after work at 4pm I will upgrade my warning to "stay the fuck out of the park between 8 and 8 upon a road bicycle riding over 20mph"
Early mornings only

I went on Monday night and was actually very quiet.

+1. Or very very late. The park is a full on nightmare due to road closures and traffic light sequences changed.
Not to mention every commuter thinking they can race you or every other car doing a u turn.
Be warned. Its for your own safety. -

I'm out, Thursdays have turned into ThNRC (Thursday Night Ride Club) for me. Get more miles in, get less bored and don't risk death every 30 secs.
-
• #3838
is that you riding out into the country or have you joined a club?
-
• #3839
It's me making my own club and riding out into the country. I'm happy for people to come along, however if i'm on the TT bike i'd rather go solo else it just becomes a pain in the arse in and out of the aerobars all the time.
-
• #3840
is riding next to you acceptable? or perhaps doing a series of mini 5 mile time trials 1 min behind each other.
-
• #3841
Haha, yeah. Assuming we find a few good routes we can rotate. Once everyone knows the routes and potential waiting points it will all work well i think.
I'm not here to kill the HoP, it's a personal decision more than anything but won't say no to a bit of company!
Anyway, wasn't there talk of HoP moving to Tuesdays a while back?
-
• #3842
Move it to Tuesdays and you could go to Herne Hill for the open test evening- all bikes allowed, just wear a helmet and don't be a moron.
-
• #3843
Last night was "fun".
Where fun = watching a BMW pull out and try to turn right in front of 10 cyclists. -
• #3844
I'd be up for a Tuesday HoP - it would not have to be instead of Thursday, it could be in addition to.
-
• #3845
Tom was actually telling me about this, might be worth a go - what sort of time does it start?

herne hill sounds interesting. Sounds like it might be a bit like wacky racers. How many people turn up?
-
• #3847
Might be in for tonight, but will be doing solo laps, will try to keep an eye out for anyone out there! =)

I went for some lonely laps last night, park is quite and pinch point free. Feels like the rest of london empty.
-
• #3849
I'm back in the country and back in London now, but after so long on a tandem am struggling with a normal bike. Might pop up to the park this eve for a pootle but am aiming to get an afternoon ride in instead.

I was there last night. What time were you out?
Park warriors in road riding shocker...
