i have a bike , currently with a 50t ring and 18,19 or 20t cogs depending on the wind and where im going and all that.
the velodrome in huyton will be opening soon and im really looking forward to going there.
to set my bike up for track use ill be needing to use 15t and 16t cogs, right , say 50/19 for riding there and then flip the wheel onto 50/16 whilst there.
thing is the chains i have are either to short for the 19t or to long for the 16t.
so my question is , what should i do , ???? take two chains ? or is it possible to use two split links and an extra male link in my chain and shorten / lengthen the chain as i switch the cogs over. is it safe to use two split links ? will consantly removing / replacing the split links weaken them ?
