I think the pairs thing is to avoid lone cats, no? No danger of that with us given that we already have two. :)

We passed our house inspection yesterday so we will be all kittened up next week.

It's also so they don't spend all their time bugging the existing cat for affection or play.

Ha - yes, I felt like I was being inspected by social services!

I'm in the process of introducing the kittens to the older animals this week. It'll be good when the rascals aren't confined to the one room. SO far they've seen the 'big cat' and the dog but not had any interaction...
