I've gone from 5D to a GX1 with a 20mm pancake and the small 14mm. The main reason was size, and it truly delivers on that. The 5D often stayed at home as its so big, the GX1 always comes with me, as a result I'm getting shots I'd never get with he 5D.
That said, I miss the 5D when I'm in Lightroom. The GX1 is just not as good. But all things considered, I'm happy I did the change. More photos = better photos, esp if you do street stuff.
