  • I understand this price. It is very rare to find a fixed gear bike with two chainrings and gearshift levers.

  • I fucking love conversions

  • ok haggle time...

I think £450 just won't do. Give me say, £475 + travel and I'll make the trip down from yorkshire and dispose of it properly for you... fairest deal you'll get I promise.

  • I'll let you choose the method of putting the poor girl down...

    a. throw her in the canal
    b. shoot it in the head (tube)
    c. just set the bitch on fire.

  • Good luck to you then

you have a kind soul young man, need more like you on here! (repped)

  • Would it be possible to buy just the shifters?

  • all 3 photos are the same? Hate it when people do that, instant turn off. Hilary stone has bike photos nailed, manages to get all the important parts into as few GOOD photos as possible.

Also, marks for effort, but if its a pinna, it would be a fact that it would have been worth more AS the road bike it was intended to be. Suggest if you want £450 for it then return it to how it was or accept that poorly thought out conversions have a natural ceiling of about £200.

  • The rule pretty much is that you're not going to make any money on a conversion.
Especially when you tell everyone how much you've spent on it, and that the price has another £150 added on top, even though all the parts are now used.
You'd be very lucky to get back what you've spent on a conversion if the parts are all still new.
End of the day, you've got what was a nice road bike, put cheap fixed gear parts on it, and gave it a ridiculous price.
Nobody on this forum's going to go for that.

  • this isnt worth more than 200 quid and you would be very lucky to get that.

Noones going to pay you for the time you spent on the project
    or the grease
or the bearings unless they are srs biznz and i dont think these are
or the cables unless they are top quality Nokon ish ones but even then....
or the tyres as they sound used and not particularly great in any case

    • the 80 quid unbranded wheels arent much of a draw though sealed bearings arent a terrible thing i suppose
    • what is a Shimano 531 Front brake?
    • the paint job is not worth what you paid for it as new, especially as they fucked it up by painting over the headbadge
    • what kind of Pinarello is it? for £450 i would want to know more than simply that its a massacred road bike.
    • Also, 531? are you sure?? I wouldve thought a Pinarello would have been built using Columbus tubing...?

Serious price revision needed or >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ebay

  • Because I left the larger one on as it clearly says Pinarello on it and personally I like the look. Also if you want to run it in a different ratio for track then you could

no self respecting track would let a road bike, butchered or otherwise near it. Track bikes only on the track

  • interested on crank..if split

  • Thanks for all the comments, EBay it is.....

  • Professional painters, y u no leave headbadge alone?

  • £80 Wheels?

  • Yep, shouldn't have put that in coz they are worth a lot more I just got em cheap....

  • Also if you want to run it in a different ratio for track then you could

Hate to break it to you, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't let you on the track with a double crankset

  • Thanks for all the comments, EBay it is.....

Don't forget your Reserve Price, or you may be very disappointed

Why is it that 90% plus of people that appear on Forums, including this one, become instant f****ing Critics as soon as they have access to a computer??

  • Nearer 99%, GLWS

  • i am an oceanographer and i am buying this Car for my illegitimate son, i am at sea right now,and I can only pay through Paypal and you can put the Paypal charges on me because as at present, i don't have access to my bank account online, but i have it attached to my Paypal account, and this is why i insisted on using Paypal to pay,all i will need is your paypal email address to make the payments,i have a pick up agent that will come for the pick up after payments has been sorted and will also handle the paper works. Be rest assured of a secured transaction because i am serious buyer and i will only take the item after payments has been sorted out. Thanks and God bless.
