Fausto Coppi steel forks
From a Fausto Coppi K14. These are incredibly light for steel forks. They are fully chromed under the paint, with nice COPPI pantographed fork ends and some more panto actio on the crown shoulders. Steerer is 231mm long from crown race base to end of steerer, and the last 48mm of steerer is threaded. The paint is chipped/scratched in some areas, as you can see. £25 posted. SOLD

Campagnolo C-Record era Athena aero seatpost
27.2mm diameter and 150mm from minimum insert line to rails. This post has the CAMPAGNOLO BREVETTATO band logo. The bolt head recess is a little misshapen, but tightens up fine. Some shallow scratching to straight section of post, this will come out with some tender wet & dry loving. £35 posted BOTH SOLD

Continental Ultra Gatorskin 700x23c tyres x 2
For those of you who are thrifty and fed up of punctures! You can see the wear in the last photo, the tyre which was on the front still has the central bead looking quite fresh. If this is placed on the rear, they'll wear nicely together as a pair. £28 posted. SOLD.

Campagnolo Record headset
For 1" forks. Not especially smooth, but not totally indexed either! I rode this for a while in its semi-grindy state, and kept it serviced so the wear/pitting didn't get any worse. Once assembled onto a bike it works fine, you can only feel the grindy feeling if you're looking for it. £18 posted. SOLD

Campagnolo Athena 8 speed ergopower groupset
Ergo levers - Levers nice and shiny, a few scratches and there's one 10mm tear in a hood as pictured.
**Mechs **- Clean and tidy. There's superficial scratching to the rear mech in the usual places, but as the pictures show, it's pretty handsome.
Brakes - Monoplanar loveliness! No scratching to speak of, logos are 100% intact, original pads (about half worn).
Chainset - 53/39, 175mm. Logos are 100% intact. Slight driveside scratching, see photo. Original rings, very little wear to the teeth and no heel rub.
**BB **- Modern sealed Capagnolo Veloce. Spins wonderfully, and is correct length and taper for this Athena double chainset.
Everything you see in picture is included, but only one front mech! You can choose band-on or braze-on.

Those of you who trawl the eBay thread may remember Bruce. It's a lightweight road frameset which I cannibalised for some parts. It weighs just 1.8kg with the Campag headset and steerer shim, both of which are included in the sale. Paint is very good, with only a few chips and scratches. Brand new. I was very close to just keeping these anyway despite cash worries, but I have seen sense. The "XL" doesn't mean much in practice... Dura Ace 7700 groupset
I have two chainsets, (both in nice condition) so you may choose 172.5mm or 175mm cranks.
This groupset actually has a slight mix of Dura Ace parts, the front mech is 7800 50th Anniversary Edition and the chain is 7900. The cassette is a bit of a mystery, but is high-spec because it weighs just under 175g. The STI levers are in good condition, with some scratching but excellently shiny faceplates. A gear indicator is included, as are downtube stops. You have a choice of British DA 7700 BB, or Italian 6500 BB (both Octalink V1). I'd probably get more cash for these parts individually, but need to clear it out so it's available for **£225 posted.[b] [b]SOLD. **

Corima 4 Spoke Clincher Rear Wheel - Shimano Freehub - DAMAGED
I had quite the epic fail with this wheel, as I was jogging trying to catch a train whist wheeling the bike through a busy pedestrian area. The tyre punctured and then the wheel (now unprotected) hit the edge of a kerb. It was at jogging speed, so like 8mph, but managed somehow to cause a crack. Hopefully the pictures speak for themselves. I've no idea if it's repairable, but the crack itself is about 10-12mm long, jutting out diagonally from the spoke/rim interface, and then leads along the seam forming the sharp edge of the spoke's aerofoil. This sharp edge has separated for about 20-25mm, but I'm guessing could be rejoined without too much fuss, leaving just the crack to think about. £70 posted. **SOLD.

**Campagnolo Chorus Carbon Rear Mech - 10sp - Medium Cage **
Granny bling? This is perfect for a lightweight climbing bike, as it can handle a 30t cassette. It may even go to 32t, but I've not tried. These are not easy to find second hand. Condition is excellent. **£59 posted. [b]SOLD. **
