We just lost a cat to chronic cystitis/possible bladder cancer so I have a little bit of experience. From the research I've done it seems that dry food diets are the problem with female cats as they don't get enough moisture from their food which results in changes to the bladder environment and consequent cystitis. Sounds like yours will be quite high protein though so less of a problem than cheaper biscuits. Unless the diet is the special one to get rid of bladder stones, I wouldn't worry about feeding a different sort of wet food as wet protein will most definitely help get moisture in. It's what they would eat if left to their own devices. We fed our cat almost exclusively fresh meat towards the end as it was the only thing she'd eat. The vet seemed to think it was helping to break down bladder crystals but unfortunately her condition was irreversible by this point so didn't have the benefits it might have done if she'd lived longer. Supplementing with cystaid (glucosamine) also helps as it thickens the mucosal layer of the bladder and stops irritation and inflammation of the bladder. You can get this cheaply online.
So try and get as much good quality wet food (which can include raw/cooked meats) as possible and supplement with cystaid. Bach flower remedy in drinking water can also help reduce stress which can exacerbate symptoms.

Hope that helps.
