Ok so I may be overstretching on the 100mi mark but to be honest that will be the type of ride i'd be doing least I think so I'm happy to sacrifice that aspect and see how I get on with lower distance rides (ldn to brighton is one I plan to do more often as my mum lives down there).
this is pretty much a one-off chance to build the bike I want to own and I've already spent many hours agonising over frame options and my heart is pretty much set on this kind of build. so while I fully appreciate people are trying to stop me from building something not fit for purpose I am aware of the limitations of track bikes on the road and am happy to deal with that, this thread is for input on how to finish the bike and pick components that will complement the frame but also be suitable for their intended uses. I'm after building a nice jack of all trades bike not a discipline specific one.
i'm also a closet hhsb junkie.
