• Vitus Fibre de Carbone (carbon fiber tubing) frame.

    • TT-56 cm (c-c), ST-57 cm (c-c).The frame had rear derailleur hanger snaped, but a new one has been attached. The rear brake bridge had some lift, so a hole was drilled and bolt inserted. All these technical difficulties have been succesfully solved. Weight is around 1400 grams.
The carbon tubes are in very very good condition, comparing with what I have seen on other examples in the net. Takes 25 mm seatpin and French threaded BB.
    • Aluminum fork with steel steerer - 560 grams
    • Campagnolo SR French threaded BB with 113 mm axle
    • Bianchi 25x350 carbon seatpost. In some places the coat is peeling off, but that is minor.

I am looking around 150 pounds incl. shipping

  • i really like this!

  • i love that your translated 'fibre de carbone' for us.

  • Now you know

  • Does this frame have toe clip overlap? as the forks look a little strange to me.

  • Yes, it does (but I did not try with toe clips, only with clipless).

  • (don't mind the fork position in first photo, as there is no headset and fork legs look leaned back)

  • Yes, it does (but I did not try with toe clips, only with clipless).

And do you feet hit the front wheel when you turn it on full lock?

  • Yes, but I experience the same with my all other bikes (that have short wheelbase).
I get your Idea that it might be bent, but it is not

  • amazing frame! where in the world is it? Potentially interested but of course with carbon its nice to be able to have a look over ;)

but yeah its beautiful and your build looked excellent also.

Could you tell what the rear spacing is?

    many thanks

  • damn thats a nice clearance. vitus frames makes such nice builds

  • @alexmbradley1: Thanks :) ... and answered your question via PM

    Rear spacing is 126 mm

  • Bump, any offers?

  • Split?
If so, dibs seat post :)

  • Hm, would like not to split, so the buyer will have less headache finding seatpost etc.
But if you need 25mm seatpost, contact rive gauche, he got a nice new USE alu 25mm seatpost (http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/8141/15thjune022.jpg)

..And frame still available (with BB and seatpost :))

Also got a spare 113 mm French threaded BB, if someone needs one

  • Bump,
Will upload pictures of the mech hanger today

  • Here we go.
So, that was a £10 repair, simple, but effective.
Maybe does not look very clean or nice, but works.
Someone with nmore precise hands can cut the hanger even prettier (so I will add another donor hanger)

  • Looks way out of line to me, would be interesting to put a gear hanger alignment tool on it just to check it.

  • Now making new one, probably will fit better.

After such a calmness I am thinking about splitting the whole thing, if someone is interested in other parts:

Bianchi 25mm x 350 carbon seatpost (coat peeled of in some places, but overall good condition and nice celeste color) - 34 pounds

Campagnolo 113mm French threaded BB, very good condition and super smooth - 20 pounds

Shimano 122mm French threaded BB, good condition - 12 pounds

    Fork - 50 pounds

    Frame - offers

  • bump

  • Up, splitting in parts you like

  • bla bla bla

  • A bit offtopic. But what kind of beer is under pedals? :D Labai jau lietuviskas kazkoks ;DD

  • Good deal for a good bike
