The Elimination!! Fuck that's exciting isn't it? Something old school about it, I can imagine Victorians laying money down at some fair!

If you're old school, you call it a Devil, and realise that it's a comedy event put on at 6 Day races, not something which should be contested at serious track championships. Willy de Bosscher always used to be good for a laugh in the Devils at Wembley when I were a lad.

Marcel Barth tried to ‘do a Willy De Bosscher’ in the Devil; the Belgian 70’s six day star used to ride round with a red card and a whistle, often pointing out his victims without actually looking at them — very entertaining.
