I've got a 600 Arabesque set on my tourer, it's rather lovely (using modern BR-650 brakes though). If you are patient you can get a group together quite reasonably from eBay. Maybe something less twiddly and more French would suit the better though?

Thanks for the reply! I know these originally came with Campagnolo so that may be the way to go?

Frame arrived today and it's a thing of beauty! Will be a slow burn Campag build.

Was just thinking how nice that frame would be with arabesque parts. Maybe it's the palm fronds on the headtube that make it work! Incongruous doesn't always mean ugly.
