Having cycled round London for years, virtually spill free, I only started wearing a Helmet about 2 weeks ago...
Last night around midnight, I came off at about 10 mph turning onto the A5 from St John's Wood Road... Must have been some diesel or something on the road, as my front wheel slid faster than Cav on Speed!
Bit battered and bruised, lots of road rash and a loose tooth, but bloody glad I had my Helmet on...
Got patched up by a charming Doctor in A & E at St Mary's Paddington, called Lu Lu, who got very excited about the L'Eroica and bikes in general...
Not sure I like my new look.. its a bit like Leslie Ash after a fun eve with Lee Chapman !
