How tall are you/ how tall would it suit do you reckon?- after a 55tt frame but not sure if a 53st is gonna be too small
-

5'7" / 30" leg. Top tube is therefore too long for me with drops. I also ride a 55 seat tube ctt but 53 ctc works best for me.

So really would suit someone with long top half. Or stick some north road bars on it if the reach would be too much with drops.

Balls. reckon it would be too small.

this is perhaps the greatest paintjob of all time!
-

IMO top tube length is more important than seat tube as you can whack the saddle up a bit.

Hey,
My names Hafid and i'm very interested in buying the frame, i'd pick it up too but the only problem is I dont get paid until the tuesday after next but if possible could i call dibs on it but only pick it up once I have the money? -
• #15
Tbh given a lot of previous experience of the 'dibs then disappear' move, I'd rather give to the first person who comes up with the money but if it's unsold by then cool. I've got one person who PM'd me before you though. Let's see what happens.....

Any chance of picking up in Central London?
I don't mind taking it somewhere like Kings Cross one evening, but I really don't like riding through town in the rush hour with a frame on my back as if it gets dinged or whatever then that makes me sad. Any good?

Here we have an unusual splatter-painted silver and black frame branded as Zanchetta, which gives maximum obscurity points, and is probably the kind of thing you'd love or hate. The paint is in very good condition with only a few small blemishes. I'm not sure of the tubing but it is a lightweight steel with Nervex lugs, most likely from the 70s or 80s. It appears to be made in France, although it takes an English threaded bottom bracket.
Measurements are
Top tube (ctc) 55cm
Seat tube (ctc) 53cm
Rear hub spacing 124mm
It comes with a very smooth bottom bracket which I added when I got it, and headset (which could use a greasing) is also included
It takes nutted brake callipers and has eyelets for mudguards.
Nice long dropouts for single speed usage, or would it make a nice retro racer - the brake guide on the rear stays would lend itself to centre-pulls.
£100 SOLD
Pick up in Stoke Newington (N16) evenings or weekends. First with money gets it. I'll post if there's no interest in pickup, but it's a bit of a faff.
