That pic is deseiving. Your eyes assume the mammoth tyres are normal size, and it kinda looks like an extended BMX. In reality, its a fecking tank. Fugly like your favourate old hammer.
Did some fit adjustments this morning, and removed the rear mudguard. Then commuted on it. I can honestly say its the biggest f**k me I've ever had on a test ride. It takes all my strength to lug the thing to the driveway. I'm thinking bugger this, its early, I'm taking the simple'n'light fixed. Then you get on, and its sublime. You just simply cant feel the weight or the length. At least from a handling perspective.
The brakes are perfect.
The comfort is top notch.
The handling is stable at amazingly slow speeds.
The gears work super smoothly.
Its instead of a second car for the furries. Part of me thinks a car would have been easier to build, and lighter. But most of me is excited at the cycling possibilities ahead.
