Yep very pricey.

Err I think they used to sell it in dacathlon as well, surely it can't be that much!
I just checked, around £200. Damn should have probably gone for that. -

Just paid £183 for it.

I'm happy with my Decathlon T2 Ultralight pro, it's still 2kg, but it's very roomy and very cheap (around £70)
This one?

We took an MSR Hoop across the Pyrenees. For 2 people, it is very spacious and you get a porch each which is a real bonus for me (I'm tidy, gf is very much not). Weight is good at less than 2.5 kg (if you're pegging it out, you don't need to take the extra little poles, I'd guess it's 2.2kg without them but with a few spare pegs)
I really liked it and it kept out a couple of proper storms no bother. A bit pricey at 280ish quid. If you know anyone going to the USA then I think you can get it for that many dollars (we couldn't wait as the old tent sprung a leak and I broke a pole 2 weeks before we left...)

Hi, just joined the forum after lurking for some time and thought i would add my 2cents.
I have a macpac nautilus I bought years a go for hiking in the mountains. it's made to live through some pretty crap weather and I'm always happy to be in it knowing the sound of the rain on the outside won't get in :)
Now i've used it on a few great cycle tours in france/germany, also as it weighs about 2.2kg and is easy to cart about.
Only thing I would suggest is that after a few weeks of pitching a tent day after day it would be nice to have something that just goes up in seconds.
That's it.... bike collection post 2... just have to figure out what section to post it in :) -

Just packing up my Force Ten Helium 200 for another trip, not super expensive, only about 150gr heavier than the 1-man Helium 100 but extra living space is nice, it weighs about 1.3Kg.. there are lighter but it's stood up to some horrendous weather

Got my MSR tent.
First impression that it's very light and small, removed the poles reduced the size a lots, if I use a compressor, it should be even smaller and the pole will go in the frame bag.
I think it's a win for a comfortable one man tent without bulking up the saddlebag too much.
image show tent squashed further in the bag - with a compressor, it should be even smaller.
Actually the size is pretty much on pair with the cheap £25 tent.

I just bought one of these
I was going to get the MSR Hubba, but came across the Laser Comp on sale (£200 instead of £330). It only weighs 930g!!!!
I'm going to play cubbies in the back garden this weekend and can't wait!

Is anyone interested in a TarpTent Scarp 2?
Lightweight 3-4 season 2 person tent (with room for luggage) - with extra crossing poles for usage in snowy conditions.
Super easy/quick to put up and has withstood Alpine storms

I would keep it - but its not going to get used for a while with a 1 year old around...

Snap, I also bought the Laser Comp. Only used it for a short overnight trip so far, but I like it. Has a good sized porch too.

Great, light, strong tent. -

Bah. Anyone wanna order one for me and post it on over to Sweden? :)
Dunno, it look reasonable amongst the £750+ one I've seen, especially the superlight Nemo tent/bivvy which cost more.
