Reality sucks. :)
Martin sat out the RR and Wiggo burried himself. Canc crashed but isn't as badly bashed as expected so should be ok to TT. Larrson = ousider.
Surprised about Canc making it. Incredible if he goes on to win any medal.

Martin downplaying his chances, but it smacks of kidology to me, trying to heap a bit more pressure onto Wiggo

Not sure if I can make the course but I'll be watching it instead of working for sure. whats the length of the TT?
-
• #33
ah 44km apparently. That's a lot longer than a prologue and a similar distance to the two tour ITT. Obviously in completely different circumstances.
Here's the course map btw

Greetings folks,
Taking tomorrow afternoon off, so going to check this.
I hope I don't get dope tested.
The Olympics are all about the following
Faster, Higher, Stronger. I for one intend to make sure I improve on all three...
Allez LFGSS.
Peace and love,

Also planning to head out and watch this - thought I might go to Kingston, but Esher sounds like an option - I'll see some of you out there, then, probably.

Sigma sports in Kingston are putting on an event, might be fun.
i however, living in West End, am trapped at home all day (the route loops around and all barriers will be up) - oh well :D

Not watching the women as Bushy Park/Hampton Court will be rammed. Staying in Walton and watching the men on their reservoir loop. Got a nice left bend to see them from.

Isn't that the HHSB ride?
in Liege this year cancellara beat wiggins in the prologue.. the course was short and technical, he also beat the field in the 2007 TdF prologue.

sparticus has bags of experience and is hard as nails, plus his frequent visits here courtesy of La Fuga will no doubt pay off, as will your sound advice BGA..
I hope Tony Martin puts in a strong performance also
