Hi All,
The stem is still an issue as it is badly corroded. Went to a local shop yesterday and came with the same idea to cut the stem and also the fork needs to be replaced.
Hopefully he has a stem and a fork in stock so by today or tomorrow I will start to paint the frame. :)
