I went yesterday. The Canadians were the favourites, but the crowd support for the Brits was phenomenal. It must have been a real boost for them to be playing what is in this country a minority sport infront of a huge partisan crowd.
Despite being showery, it was a great afternoon. There was good natured crowd support for all of the games which made for a nice atmosphere. I loked last night and there are still some tickets available - our tickets were £40 and the view was fine. The session started at 14:30 and finished at 19:00 which I thought represented great value for money. -

I also watched the men's and found that almost as exciting.
I am going to get tickets, if I can only get some for the men's then so be it, but from what I saw on the tv it looked like a really good party atmosphere -

I won't defend beach volleyball, but Handball is a different matter. It's only the British who don't give a shit about it, in most of Europe it's a big sport, in Germany it's probably only second to Football in popularity.

Did anyone actually watch the beach volleyball?
It's a very skilful and exciting sport -

I watched it for 5 minutes. It's not sexy and it's not entertaining.
Anybody else finding themselves getting surprisingly into this captivating sport over the weekend?
I thought the British pair looked very good against the Canadians.
I particularly liked the Benny Hill music they were playing in the background at one point
