Similarly I got my rear wheel bumped by a taxi driver, but managed to stay on. I went a little mental, he told me to shut up and kept pointing at the other driver. He was obviously banking on the driver in front pushing a tight overtake on a bus pulling out; which I had stopped for a good 5 seconds earlier. When they didn't he could only swerve at me. Perfectly understandable when you put it like that isn't it?
For some reason the liability for rear impact collisions means nothing to a lot of drivers.
Incidentally, not 1 minute before, the same cabbie overtook me very close at speed while coming into red lights. Self-entitled moron.
