The study group are interested in pollution levels in the local neighbourhood . The group are particularly concerned at the level of exposure for children in the neighbourhood. (from memory).
The original hypothesis was "are the levels different between public transport users and cyclists?".
there's a flaw, but the answer appears to be yes.If you look at the publication record of the PI of this group, they're concerned with pollution in general, but specifically children.
Well, the really interesting comparison is between car drivers and cyclists, so it's a bit of a missed opportunity there.
