    There are a few knobjockeys on motorbikes as there seem to be on bikes.

    There are "knobjockeys" on every form of transport, that is why you have to look after yourself on top of following the laws and guidelines. My assessment would be the same for a cyclist in the same situation.

    Speaking as an occasional idiot, when I get in an accident or close call I do try and work out how much my actions contributed to it and what I could have done to avoid it.
