Motorcycles in your bus lane

So, car driver moves in to another lane and hits another road user.

Why is the guy an idiot?

He was riding far too fast for the traffic conditions. It was very clear cut.

This is about right. Just cos it's legal doesn't make it sensible. The driver might be at fault but we know cars do stupid things like that and the rider gave himself no chance to avoid a collision.
