• Going to call myself out too.

Guilford St to Russell Sq. Longer queue at the lights than there normally is because of 'Lympics lanes and temporary bollards innit.
As I'm approaching the back of the stationary traffic to filter through, a motorcyclist swerves in front thinking he can take the gap between a tradesman's van and a taxi. As is normally the case when this happens, he can't, and sits there blocking off my filtering route. Standard.

I get annoyed, and instead of being a good ickle cyclist and waiting patiently undertake between the motorbike and the rear of the van. Sod's law, I realise that at that undertaking angle, I can't get through the gap either. But I'm still angry, so I unclip and shuffle through, bodychecking the rear of the van as I go.

I was just going to cycle off, without even an apologetic wave to the driver. But he opens his door asking whether I was just going to cycle off. Still a bit peeved and now on the defensive, I angrily try to shirk blame saying that it was just skin on car with no damage, before reluctantly coming to my senses and just about manage to apologise in a still impolite way.

TL;DR. I hypocritically filtered through a gap that was too narrow. Body checked a stationary vehicle. Raised my voice at a driver clearly in the right.

Sorry handyman-driver-man. And sorry biking community for being a dick :(
