If I lived round the corner I'd come and get this all shiny and new for a decent coffee!.
Chrome: Aluminium foil and vinegar...comes up like new; toe clips...bin. all alloy stuff, cranks, calipers stem etc, 000 steel wool and WD40 then solvol autosol ( car shop ). lots of hot soapy water and turtle wax on the frame to finish. even the crappy centre pull cables would shine up with a scotchbrite pad and a bit of lube.
Rusty chain? oil and a rag, several times. Plus-gas if it's really tight, or a tenner for shiny new chain. :)
