I bought a State fixie not that long ago and having spent a fair amount of time riding through this exceptionally wet summer. I've noticed again and again that there is water in the rim of both wheels. There's enough water that I can hear it sloshing about when I start off and it leaks out of the holes for the spokes.
I've never really thought of wheels as being waterproof but at the same time, I've never encountered anything like this in 20+ years of cycling. I'm worried about corrosion of the wheels and tubes. Has anyone come anything like this? The bikes under warranty so my next stop is State Bikes but thought I'd ask here first.
