See as my name is Sam Bates, I would get a tiny sticker made up, (about 80mm long) in the same font as the S-WORKS. I would put it on the Top Tube right near the seat tube: 'S-BATES'. But I'm a bit of a perv so ignore me.

I think it should be "MASTER S. BATES."

The bar tape suits it I think (is it the mike giant tape?), but I really like this stuff from Cinelli.

Fizik tape is a bugger to put on, Ambrosio wafer tape is best in terms of fit and comfort. As used by Bradley Wiggins*.

*this may not be true, but every other fucker is claiming an association and I'm never one to miss the opportunity to jump on a bandwagon.

Never found Lizard skins unduly sticky, and it bears being repositioned which makes the purchase price more bearable.
