  • brainbreaker stacked it?

    What's new? :)

  • guy on an orange geared condor riding from tooting up to central along cs7 in black/red jersey. nice to see someone riding sensibly at pace in flow with traffic rather than working against it. only other cyclist on the way in I felt comfortable being around when traffic started to stack up. doubt he's on here but hi just in case.

  • Chainbreaker and Haz (?Hats?) OKR to London Bridge. Nice to meet you both. Thanks for the chat and ride.
    That BBQ sounded divine too.

  • This evening, turning into Canonbury from Upper Street a couple were passing a bidon between them when I over took them wearing my forum jersey. I was Dased but did not oblige but rather waved. Would have stopped to say helo but I have lost my voice due to the pollen.

That was me, well, the female part. Yo! It was an everso distinguished wave, I must say!

  • Forum Jersey on Elephant and Castle this morning! I was far too busy avoiding the masses to DAS you, good morning!

  • C.B. spinning down the Euston Road olympics lane whilst DASing me this morning whilst I sat on the inside lane breathing in bus perfume. Made me smile near the end of a nodder-laden commute, nice one fella!

I was forum jersey-ed up at E&C this morning, but I probably wasn't the only one!

Finally you spotted me! I liked the way you kept looking back at me while we were riding.
And i didnt fall off once!

Just managed to sneak in before the office seniors :)

I was expecting to witness a larger ruckus. Maybe next time?
    Not even once! Bravo :)

Hi! as promised a DAS. I recommend that olympics lane!

Sorry not to stop to say hello but I have lost the power of speech thanks to all those wretched pollen. Nice bidon.

  • Nice BRIGHT orange Fort lo pro on Pall Mall.

Then a courier locking up a yellow Islabikes lo pro on Russell Square, isn't that someone on here? Didn't say anything because I was admiring the bike...

  • Grey MASH with front trispoke in Cremorne Gardens at 3.45 this afternoon

    ..no riding in the park!

  • Corny at trafalgar square and then chatted down whitehall just now.

also when i came out of work, two fellas were taking photos of my bike with good cameras. i spoke to them, they did not seem likely to be ON HERE

  • Rolla jersey on Kew Road

You were geared but I still shouted DAS

  • Nice roll with Jackal down the Walworth Road to Camberwell.

  • Beat me to it.

Good to see you and have a chat this afternoon.

  • Bloke on a lovely Cannondale 'Saeco' conversion riding down Upper Street 6.30 this evening. Had a brief chat about your frame. Didn't get a chance to ask whether you were on here. Anyone?

  • 60-something Aussie tourist couple crossing the road outside King's Cross this morning, plainly having just arrived in town for the 'lympics. I was trackstanding at the red light and as they cross the old boy says to his wife, "yeh, that's a fixie". Amazing.

  • ^ similar-ish experience on seven sisters road near finsbury park minus track standing

  • We are now tourist attractions. Like red phone boxes and Beefeaters.

  • Saw the ultimage hipster steed on Old St this morning; a black and white carbon bullet, looked suicidal.

  • The driver of a Polish registered van shouted "Gears are for queers!" at me as I rode down CS7 last night. I was on a track bike before anybody says anything.

Is it possible that London fixed gear riders really are a minor tourist attraction?

  • Polish guy, in a van, tourist - i think not. Plumber, i think yes.
