Honestly, I was disappointed. Its the 'return oh the jedi' of the series.

I didn't enjoy the dark knight much, any point in seeing him rise? Watching Bale doing a angry Clint Eastwood impression was silly, so I doubt the main character speaking through a air vent for the entire film will be any more rewarding.I find Ann Hathaway annoying too. Her an her $50M-charity-fraud-fiancee.
I guess the self-reverential tone of the film makes you forget it's a comic book, and so all the cartoony stuff looks absurd. It's all just a bit much really. A little OTT. Memento and Insomnia are good films, so are these batman films and inception, but for me they tend to disappear up their own arse.

I thought it was a bit shit to be honest. Hathaway was awesome, Joseph Gordon Levitt was awesome, as was Gary Oldman of course. Everything else was a bit shit. Tom Hardy deserved a better character.

Yep - just got back from it at the Vue, Islington
Good. Not astonishingly so - I certainly have my gripes, but not worth mentioning in the grand scheme. It was solid overall. Great set-pieces - Wish I'd seen it at IMAX (Having been lucky enough to see the preview/prologue on IMAX in December).

I think that film was way over-hyped. The boy who played Hugo was pretty wooden, and Sacha Baron Cohen's acting was pretty dreadful too. In many ways it felt like a not very good attempt to emulate Jean-Pierre Jeunet's style. In fact, thinking about it, if Jeunet had directed this with a French cast (i.e. avoiding setting a film in Paris but employing an all-English/American cast, where everyone speaks with an English or really terrible French accent) it probably would have been quite good. Sir Ben on good form as usual though, even though it looked like he just dialled it in. Hum.
Watched Hugo last night, which was perfect for my mood and provided excellent entertainment. Made me think more of Terry Gilliam than Martin Scorsese. Would like to watch something similar tonight.

Watched Chronicle tonight. One of the view films filmed in the 'pov handheld camera' style that I actually enjoyed and thought the concept was very good, go watch it

Atlas (2012) - International Trailer [Mtime] - Oct. 26 - YouTube[/ame]
I am going to see it again next weekend I think. Purely because it was very very late when I saw it and I couldn't concentrate as much as I'd have liked to.
I know, I didn't know how she could play her. But my god did she play her! She was very convincing, as was everyone actually. A smashing film. Makes me hate Christopher Tookey and his Daily Mail review even more!
