The 20k was the championship event with the scratch being the support. I just thought I should make that bit clear, not showing off or anything, oh no.
I agree it was a well organised day of racing, thanks to everyone involved in getting it organised at short notice. With a few tweaks to the program (specifically the sprint structure) I think next year's event could be even better. Was pretty strange having loads of news crews down there filming, and I even got interviewed by the evening substandard after my win. They haven't actually printed anything but that could just be down to the fact that I'm a bumbling inarticulate idiot. In fact, I don't think the bloke was even taking any notes when I was blabbering away.
My only gripe for the day was that everyone downed tools mid event to watch some bloke called Biggins riding round Paris in a yellow jumper. That added a chunk of time on to proceedings and made me late for my dinner. How inconsiderate.
