Morning again, just wanted to say a massive thanks for those who contributed to the "what to do when you're bike's stolen thread".
On Friday afternoon we found my friend's Charge Plug for sale on Gumtree, called the old Bill but they weren't particularly interested, advised us to call 999 if it was definitely his bike (waiting half an hour after accusing someone of theft would have been great fun...). So ended up calling the number on the advert and arranging to meet at Forest Hill station on Saturday morning.
After what can only be described as a very English standoff (can't say too much more at the moment), we ended up walking away with the bike.
Anyway, many thanks and its definitely worth trawling the web/posting here/searching Brick Lane...!
