  • Do we have to guess or to we just have to run like fuck.

  • Pure eevill.

  • It's the noise that freak me out the most.

    I longed for L4D 3.

  • Do I pre-order Warfighter on Origin despite the fact that it's ten pounds more expensive to download there?

I can't see any other download-only places and don't buy hard copies of games any more. I read somewhere I could buy a hard copy, redeem the key on origin, then throw the physical copy away, but that seems a bit stupid.

    RRP 49.99
    Origin 39.99
    Everywhere else 29.99

  • They were fine in L4D, shotgun to the head and they're dead. L4D2, however, they're annoying as shit.

  • Splinter Cell Blacklist | Official Pop-up Video [NORTH AMERICA] - YouTube

I wonder how much longer they can go with Splinter Cell - but that does have some neat looking updates.

  • It has arrived...

It's achingly fast and looks like it means business.

Just done some benchmark tests and it's absurd. Complete overkill but at least i shouldn't need to upgrade in a while.

The only slight gripe is having to get used to a new keyboard (but the actions and feel of the keys is lovely which will help that).

I've never had a full HD screen before so it'll be eye opening to see how it handles work (video faffing). But... in the meantime... I'm currently downloading my Steam and Origin libraries : ) (unfortunately on a very mediocre broadband connection so i could be here some time before I get a chance to play anything)

  • And that was Battlefield 3.

  • ^^ looks like a beast!

  • My eyes hurt so much. I had to get up at 9 to start work and can't concentrate :)

Completed the campaign last night on hard. Pretty straightforward but what annoyed me were the fairly regular 'E' 'Spacebar' 'Left Click'-now moments. Particularly as I kept getting them wrong.

Then at about 4am I started my first multiplayer game - Conflict on the Caspian Sea map. Fun map. Got my ass handed to me though by the srs players that congregate at that time of night. Also - I'm 100 per cent shit at flying planes.

  • I can't play anything other than normal tdm on battlefield... planes tanks and shit just seem to spoil it for me. (could just be that I can't fly/drive for shit and its frustrating)

  • Just played a quick TDM. Having not played a battlefield game since 1942 - so to speak - and then only versus the computer, this is fantastic. COD can do one.

  • .

  • Fuck flying. Its impossibru I tell you.

  • Can you fit two people in a plane? one to fly, one to shoot?

  • I managed to take out a tank just by climbing really high then hurtling to earth at it. didn't have time to lock-on with rockets so just flew straight at it. Seemed to work.

  • hah.

Now if only they release it for mac, I'd be lfgssing it up in no time.

  • CYOA, can I ask how much have you pay for that beast??

  • zero : )

I somehow hypnotised a client into paying for it for me, by alleging that it'll be great for all the video work I'm never going to do again now I've discovered BF3.

I think he paid around 2,700.

Incidentally, that company has been fantastic throughout. They're only a couple of guys to my knowledge but they're absurdly helpful and if none of the parts are on the list, ask them and they will order them in. I've had many a late night email about whether or not we can fit a sim-card reader/mobile wifi chip inside it. They're very happy to basically customise it exactly to meet your needs. They're an online company but because I was concerned about the durability of the chassis I asked if I could meet someone and see it in the flesh - i met, I saw, I ordered. One of them then met up with me to deliver it personally.

    Thumbs up.

  • great, you a lucky man!

  • CYOA repped. Amazing!

  • ^ Don't give him anything else to be happy about!

  • Another one;

    Madonna has lost it.
