  • I did wonder about leaving them off, but when I'd got the first one off you could see where it had been after I'd cleaned it, which looked a bit daft (the rim was shiny all over, but matt where the sticker had been), so I put the new stickers on.

    I think the resale value is probably significantly higher with the stickers on, also, and I may turn these around fairly quickly.

    Anyway- just been out for a quick spin, on smooth tarmac these sound great- to the point that other cyclist look over their shoulder to work out what's coming up behind them in Richmond Park I found.

    They also feel very stiff, with zero brake rub when out of the saddle and 800 watts+ applied.

    The front wagged its head in a gust of wind, which I corrected as it happened- the rear was completely unaffected.

    There is a slight pulse under braking from the rear, which is explained by it being slightly out of true- I'll get that sorted over the next few days, other than that the wheels are perfect.

    Braking is very good- better than I'd been expecting, with a nice "zipp!" noise from the Reynolds blue pads.
