Biker-boarder.de anyone used them?

Am hoping to pick this bike up in the near future and the cheapest place I've found is this website:

£215 cheaper than anywhere in the UK, infact it's cheaper than Evans is selling the £700 R6 model, I can't justify not buying it from there at those prices, anyone used them before?

I've never bought from them, but they've been around for a long time, and you can pay via PayPal- I'd buy from them.

I ordered some forks on Wednesday night from Germany and had a confirmation email they were with the courier by Thursday afternoon and due for delivery on Monday.

What is the bike for? Where are you riding it? Over built hybrids are not really required for London riding and will never be great off road.

Well I'm not going to be using it for commuting tbh more of a thing that I just want it for exercise and getting out into the world a bit. My girlfriend lives ~20 miles from me and I wouldn't mind cycling over to hers instead of driving, the drive sucks but cycling it would be much more pleasant. I also find going out for a walk to nowhere really boring but I wouldn't care on a bike.

It's a part of a massive lifestyle change for me, I've wanted one for years but it wasn't practical because of commuting with a partner and now I've changed the commute part I can finally get my bike.

I want hybrid because I never liked the racer handlebars growing up as a BMX kid.

I'd be interested in hearing how this transaction went. Did you have to pay import duty and VAT?

Found this thread through google. Was trying to understand what 'prepayment' meant.

I've managed to get a good deal of their online sale price for a bike and will place an order today. Seem good so far, with all the contact I've had. Plus their google review is glowing.
